The History of Fetzer Tire & Automotive Repair Service

Our story starts in 1973, when Peter and Miki Fetzer founded Fetzer Tire & Automotive Repair Service. With 3 automotive service bays, the duo began helping drivers throughout Southport, CT and the surrounding areas by providing honest, professional tire and repair services.

They weren’t alone in their endeavor, operating the shop over the years with the help of their children, including current owner Howie Fetzer who purchased the business from his parents in 2004. What started with 3 automotive service bays has since doubled to 6 through the continued support and loyalty of our customers. We have and will continue to strive to provide quality service and one-of-a-kind at our family business.
